We are not attorneys and we are not giving legal advice. We are typing up documents at your direction and following the small claims procedure set by the court.
We will take care of all of the following:
- Prepare the small claim form and notarize it;
- Hand file the Small Claim with the Court and conform all copies;
- Get the documents out for service with a Process Server and get the defendant(s) served;
- Follow up with a sub-mailing copy after service if required;
- Track the case to see if the Defendant responds to the Claim;
- Prepare a Default Judgment (95% of the time);
- Hand file the Judgment with the Court;
- Obtain a copy of the signed Judgment for our client after the judge signs it;
- Prepare a request for Transcriptions and Docketing of Judgment (only if claim is under $3000.);
- Send copies of filing receipt, Proof of Service, Default Judgment & Transcription of Judgment to our client.
After a Judgment is obtained we can assist you with garnishing the defendant’s bank accounts and/or wages.
Do you need to find where the subject works or banks? We can help with that.
If you already know where the defendant works or banks and you need someone to type up the Writ of Garnishment paperwork, file it with the court and then serve it on the defendant's employer &/or serve it on the defendant's bank, complete all the necessary paper work, file it with the court, mail copies to the plaintiff and defendant. We can help with that for about $65. All we will need a copy of the judgment.
